The Guardian will only follow enemies within a certain range of the place you've posted it in. This range is represented by the dotted circle that appears when you select it in your Province.

Your Province was attacked while you were away and your Guardian took some damage from enemy units. The Guardian needs various amounts of time to recover after taking damage; this duration gets shorter as you have more friends playing the game.

It is possible to recover your game progress after re-installation or after you replace your device. In order to do this, you just need to install the application on your device and log into the same social network account you used before to get your game progress downloaded onto your device.
