A message appears that reads, "LEVEL ERROR. You exited the level's boundaries. You have been returned to the main menu."

Free elemental chests are not available in the Chests menu
Please note that these elemental chests have been disabled for this update, but you will be able to open them during certain events. Make sure to pay special attention to the Chests tab and open your free chests as fast as possible, because they can be disabled forever.
Cannot Master minions 
Several players reported that despite having enough materials to master a minion, this can't be done due to a "The request you sent has failed."  error message. Sometimes materials are also improperly displayed in the Mastery section (e.g., instead of showing 2/2 for Decanene, it shows 0/2). Rest assured that our dedicated team is already looking into this issue in order to fix it in a timely manner. 
We were informed by several Windows players that they didn't receive any Master Hunter's Chests after completing Legendary Hunts. Our developers are already on the issue and the Chests will be available both in Your Bank and in the Chests menu soon.
Coliseum Chests are not available
Can't start the Guild War
We received several reports from Windows players saying that they cannot play the Guild War due to an error indicating that the game version is outdated. Rest assured that the issue is known to us and our developers are already working on it.
Legendary Hunt event not available
There was an issue on our side that caused the absence of the event for several hours on September 14, but we are happy to inform you that it is already fixed. To make up for the lost time, the event will be prolonged to September 19, 16:00 GMT. Thank you for your patience! 
Can't watch ad videos; "Get Gems" icon is unavailable
Several players reported that they had no free gems icon or they could not watch ad videos due to an error which appeared when tapping a video icon. Rest assured that the issue is already known to us and our development team is working to implement the fix by the next game update.
Can't defeat the opponent in Arena

Hammer repair issue
Please note that it is not a bug. After the latest update, a hammer only repairs the gear that is currently equipped on the character, the rest of the items remains damaged.

Can't buy "12 days-of-Christmas-Pack"
Several players reported that they are unable to buy "12 days-of-Christmas-Pack" as they receive the error "the request you has sent failed". Please rest assured that the issue is already known to us and we are currently investigating it.
Cannot open Christmas chest
We have received several reports from players claiming that they received Christmas chest as a daily gift, but it is not available in the chests' menu. Please note that this chest can be opened only in the Holiday Shop, but not in the chests' menu.

How does Berserker Damage work?
Berserker Damage is triggered when your HP is below 20%. It will give you a 10% damage buff that will last for as long as the HP condition holds true.
How does Brawler Damage work?
Brawler Damage gives you a damage bonus based on how many enemies are nearby to your character.
How do I trigger Health Potion Damage?
Health Potion Damage is triggered whenever you drink a potion. You will gain a 10% damage bonus for 6 seconds.
How do I gain XP?
By completing any mission in the game (Solo Mode, Wanted Challenges, Daily Challenges).
How can I see my character stats?
If you go to the Gear menu, you can tap on the "+" button under your character to display their stats.
What’s a skill?
A skill is a special ability you can use in the game. You get access to a skill when you equip the corresponding Skill Item.
How can I unlock a skill?
A skill can be unlocked by acquiring and equipping the Skill Item that grants that skill.
How can I upgrade a skill?
Skills are upgraded by using Fusion to upgrade the corresponding Skill Item.
Where can I find my character’s skills?
Go to the Gear menu and then go to Equip. There, you will see which Skill Items you have equipped and which are in your inventory.
How can I activate a skill?
Once a Skill Item is equipped, a button representing that skill becomes available in the interface during gameplay.
What are the different types of Skills?
There are three types of Skills: Defensive Skills, Movement Skills and Offensive Skills.
What are the differences between the difficulty modes?
The difficulty modes determine the difficulty level of the Solo missions. A higher difficulty level means tougher enemies, but the trade-off is that the rewards are greater.
What is the World Map?
The World Map shows a map of the single-player campaign. Completing single-player missions unlocks new missions which become available on the World Map. You can return to any previously played mission by accessing the World Map from the base.
Why can't I replay the first two missions of the single-player campaign?
The first two missions are unique in that they cannot be replayed. They do not appear on the World Map.
Are there checkpoints in every level in the game?
No, there are no checkpoints in any of the missions.
Is there a lottery system in the game?
Yes, in the form of Chests.
How does the system work?
By acquiring gems and Bounty Tickets, you are able to open Bounty Chests that reward you with random items.

What are Gear Chests?
These chests contain gear for the player and are usually of a higher tier. They are opened using gems.

How do I acquire Bounty Tickets?
Bounty Tickets are earned whenever you complete a mission where you bring along an ally; both you and the other player will earn Bounty Tickets for your success. Likewise, if someone uses your character in a mission, you will receive Bounty Tickets.
How do I send gifts?
When you use another player's character in a mission, they are automatically sent a gift of Bounty Tickets.
What kinds of gifts can I send?
Gifts consist of varying amounts of Bounty Tickets.
How do I accept a Friend Request?
Friend Requests can be viewed and accepted in the "Requests" tab of the Friends menu.
Can I invite my Game Center/Google+ friends?
Yes, you can send invitations to your Game Center/Google+ and Facebook friends from the "Add Friend" tab of the Friends menu.
How do I send a Friend Request?
When you complete a mission with an ally belonging to a player not yet on your Friends List, you will have the option to send them a Friend Request. You can also send a Friend Request to someone using a referral code in the Friends menu.
Do I have to be connected to the Internet to be able to add friends?
Yes, an Internet connection is required to send and receive requests.
Does Dungeon Hunter 5 have Voice Chat?
No, it does not, but we might add this feature in the future.
How do I get items and gear in the game?
You earn new gear and equipment by completing missions in Solo mode, participating in the Daily and Wanted Challenges, and by opening chests using Gems or Bounty Tickets.
How do I equip items?
You can equip gear by opening the Gear menu and then going to the Equip menu. This menu will show what equipment you are currently wearing and what equipment is available in your inventory.
What is a Gear Set?
When deciding which equipment to wear, you have the option of saving your current gear setup as a Gear Set. This allows you to change complete sets of gear without having to manually search for and equip every individual item.
How do I create a set?
When you are in the Equip menu, the number of available Gear Sets is visible below your character as a series of five dots. By scrolling between these dots, you can change, modify and update different Gear sets.
What is an "item information card"?
Each item in the game has its own information card that displays that item's statistics.
How do I access an information card?
You can access an item's information card by tapping and holding your finger on the item in your inventory.
What are weapon/armor/item levels?
Each piece of equipment in DH5 has a level. The higher an item's level, the better its stats. Using Fusion, you can increase an item's level, thereby increasing its stats and making it more powerful.
What is the maximum level I can reach with my gear?
Every item has its maximum level on its information card.
What are elements?
Items and skills are categorized under five different elements: Fire, Water, Nature, Dark, and Light.
What are the differences between the elements?
Besides providing a different visual, elements also provide bonuses and penalties depending on how they are used. Each element is stronger against one other element and weaker against another. If you attack a monster whose armor has an element that is weak against your weapon's element, you will deal bonus damage. Likewise, if a monster with an element strong against your armor's element attacks you, you will receive extra damage. Fire beats Nature, Nature beats Dark, Dark beats Light, Light beats Water, and Water beats Fire.
What is Fusion?
Fusion is a system where you can increase an item's level (and therefore statistics) by "fusing" other items into it. The items used for Fusion are destroyed forever, but the item you improved gains experience, levels and grows more powerful.
Where can I fuse items?
When in the player base, open the Gear menu and then the Fusion menu.
How do I use Fusion?
When you open the Fusion menu, you will be prompted to choose an item. This will be the base item you're improving. Once an item is selected, you will be taken to the Fusion screen where you will be asked to choose up to four items to fuse. These items are taken from your inventory. Once you have chosen between 1 to 4 items, you can fuse them into your base item. Doing so costs gold. Once the Fusion is complete, your base item increases in experience and the other items are destroyed.
How much does Fusion cost?
The cost of Fusion depends on the base item's level and the number of items you are fusing. The higher the base item's level and the more items you choose to fuse, the higher the cost.
Why are some of my items not displayed in the fusion screen?
Items not eligible for upgrade will not be shown. Items that are equipped will not be available to use as fusion material.
What items are incompatible when upgrading?
None. All item types can be used to fuse other items.
What happens if I don't have enough gold to fuse an item?
Gems can be used to cover the cost of Fusion if you do not have enough gold. The game will display a prompt asking you if you wish to cover the cost with gems if you do not have enough.
Why can't I upgrade my weapon anymore?
Your weapon might be at its maximum level or you do not have any available items to fuse into it.
What is Evolution?
When your item has reached its maximum level through Fusion, you can evolve it to increase its tier. When you increase its tier, the item's maximum level will increase and it will gain magical properties.
How do I evolve items?
Before you can evolve an item, it must have first reached its maximum level. Once you have an item with a maxed-out level, open the Evolution menu from the Gear menu. The items available for Evolution will be present.
Why can't I evolve every item?
Not all items can be evolved. You can easily spot an evolvable item by the empty star showing on its item card.
What do I need to evolve items?
You will need to possess the necessary materials (up to 4 ingredients) and the cost in gold.
Where do I get ingredients to evolve my gear?
Ingredients can be obtained by completing daily dungeons.
How do I access my Stronghold?
Go to the Multiplayer page from the player base. There, you will have the option to modify your Stronghold and collect the gold it has generated.
How can I add minions to my Stronghold?
When you go to the Multiplayer menu, choose "Modify Stronghold" to open your Stronghold. There, you will see a map of your Stronghold and all the different places where minions can be assigned. The minions you can assign are chosen from your inventory.
What do I lose if I'm successfully raided?
You will lose Trophies that are used for your League Rank.
How do I raid another player?
You can select an opponent from the Suggested Players list.
What do I gain by raiding Strongholds?
You get Trophies, Quartz, boosters and gold.
What do I lose if I fail a Stronghold raid?
You will lose Soul Points.
I'd like to raid a specific player. How do I search for one?
You can search for a specific opponent in the opponent selection menu.

What are Gems?
Gems are a premium currency in Dungeon Hunter 5. They can be used to increase the inventory space, purchase Shields for your Stronghold or complete a purchase when you do not have enough gold.
How can I earn free gems?
You can obtain gems by completing a mission for the first time, by ranking in the leaderboard and by earning Victory Points in a Wanted Challenge in the Events section.
I can’t see or buy anything in the Shop. What should I do?

What is a Daily Dungeon?
A dungeon that is available only one specific day of the week.
How do I win prizes in Daily Dungeons?
There are no special prizes for playing the dungeon, but you keep all the loot you find.
What can I find in Daily Dungeons?
Evolution materials can be found in Daily Dungeons.
Do I have to use Wi-Fi to play online?
No, a 3G connection will do as well, but Wi-Fi is preferable.
How can I transfer my game progress to another device with a different operating system?
Unfortunately, game progress cannot be transferred between different platforms.
What can I do if the game crashes, freezes or lags?
The application might crash, freeze or lag due to the following reasons: The device is running too many applications at the same time, the device does not have enough memory or its storage is almost full, the Internet connection is very weak. In order to avoid these issues, please make sure to close unnecessary applications, clear some memory and have a good Internet connection.
Why do I get the same items from Gear and Bounty Chests?
As you might already know, using a Gear or Bounty Chest does not guarantee any specific item. It works like a lottery from which you receive a random item, and it depends on which type of chest you've opened. Sometimes you can get the same items in a row, but these items also have 1 Super Fusion point that makes them more powerful.
Can I play the game without an Internet connection?
No, an active Internet connection is required to play the game without issues and to back up your progress online.
Is it possible to change the account name or the character's name?
No.
Is Dungeon Hunter 5 a "pay-to-win" game?
Dungeon Hunter 5 is free to download, but some content is accessible through in-app purchases. Even though Dungeon Hunter 5 offers some content through in-app purchases, the game isn't one that could be considered "pay-to-win". In-app purchases are designed to keep the game balanced and enjoyable for everyone; for instance, a seasoned player will be able to progress through challenging scenarios, but a more casual player may find themselves getting stuck more frequently, so they have the option to assist their progression with in-app purchases. There is no paywall in Dungeon Hunter 5. You will not be required to spend money to play the game to completion; you may sometimes find it more challenging (which can be far more fun), but you can enjoy all features of the game without spending any money.
Why did you make Dungeon Hunter 5 an Energy-based game?
Dungeon Hunter 5 has been designed with an eye for accessibility. This Energy mechanic helps to instill shorter but more enjoyable play sessions to fit within mobile gaming trends and offer the optimal mobile gaming experience. There's no less content, it just means you can't devour it as quickly! In the long run, you'll be playing for longer. The Energy system has been designed to offer you a more competitive gaming experience. By setting consequences to failure, we believe it helps trigger inner competitiveness in our players and creates a more compelling challenge and deeper strategy requirement. It also offers a more realistic experience. If we allowed players to fail the same mission hundreds of times, it would create frustration and anger; that would not be a good gaming experience. On the other hand, with the Energy mechanic you may be blocked after a series of failures -- but this will then allow you to take some rest, re-assess your tactics and gear, and come back with a new mindset and a better chance at completing the level.
How can I reset the game progress to start from the beginning?
In order to start the game from the beginning, you can log in with a new social network account you have never used with the game before.
What is a minion's maximum tier?
A minion not won in the Stronghold Chest or Xinkashi Chest has a maximum tier of 3. Minions won from a Stronghold Chest or Xinkashi Chest have a maximum tier of 5.
Where can I find Xinkashi Minions?
In the Stronghold Chest.
What is a Room?
Rooms are items that can be assigned to your Stronghold to change the layout of your minions, add additional defenses and impart extra bonuses on your minions. The first type of Room to be released are Trap Rooms.
How do I fuse/evolve Rooms?
Rooms are managed the same way as minions.
Where do I find Rooms?
In the Stronghold Chest.
Can traps be destroyed?
No, traps in Rooms cannot be destroyed. They are deactivated when all minions are killed.
Do Rooms generate resources?
Rooms do not currently generate resources, but some Rooms increase the resource output of your minions.
What are the tickets awarded by this Event and what are they used for?
The new Xinkashi Chest is opened using these tickets.
I got tickets the first time I successfully completed the Lady Tzimeko Stronghold Raid. Can I get more?
After completing the Event for the first time (on each difficulty level), you can still get Xinkashi Tickets, but they drop a little less often.
How can I get all the rewards on the calendar?
You need to start the game every day for a month.
I went to the calendar and there were several rewards to claim. Why?
The Daily Reward requires you to log in. If you don't claim the reward right away, it will be kept there until you claim it.
I had several rewards ready to be claimed yesterday and now they aren't there. Why?
At the end of the month, the calendar is refreshed with new rewards, so you need to claim your rewards before the month ends or you'll lose them.
I was halfway through one or more tasks and their count dropped back to zero. Why?
You must complete the tasks before midnight, or the counter will reset back to zero.
What is included in the "Fuse 12 items" tasks?
The count includes the items being fused, the items being fused to, the minions and the boosters.
Do I need to win the Raids in order for them to count towards the "Complete 1 Raid" task?
Yes, you need to win it.
I have a maximum of only 24 Energy. How can I complete the "Spend 40 Energy" task?
Your Energy replenishes over time. If you play two sessions with at least 3 hours between them, you'll have plenty of Energy to accomplish this task.
I have a hard time gathering the 30 Bounty Tickets needed to complete the "Open 3 Bounty Chests" task. What can I do?
Get more Friends! Use them as allies (you get double the Tickets when you use friends as allies). If this fails, try to find Friends who are more active.
I have completed all the tasks. Now what?
Come back tomorrow and all the tasks will be refreshed, with new rewards to collect once you've completed them again.
Why isn't the icon to obtain free gems available?
Please be advised that the videos that give you free gems are not always available.
How can I change a character's gear when defending my Stronghold?
You can do so by using the Keeper icon in the Stronghold.
How can I change my character gender and character name?
You can do so using the Change Gender or the Change Name options in the Shop. This costs a few gems.
How can I get more Health (HP) Potions?
You can now buy bundles of 5 potions in the shop. You can also get some in the Xinkashi event which sometimes appears on Fridays, or you can get them by completing missions for the first time at the second difficulty in each campaign mission.
Other than special exclusive dungeons, what are the different types of limited-time events?
There are numerous events that can affect various aspects of the game for a limited time: - Special elemental Gear chests which increase the chances of getting items of a specific elemental type when opening a gear chest. - Solo Mission Energy cost reduction (missions only cost half the amount of Energy to play). - Solo Mission XP multiplier (missions provides double the experience points). - Double the Gold rewards upon successfully raiding another player’s Stronghold. - Double the Quartz rewards upon successfully raiding another player’s Stronghold. - Improved Gear Fusion efficiency (each fusion provides double the Fusion Points to the item). - Improved Stronghold item Fusion efficiency, which affects Minions and Trap Rooms (each Fusion provides double the Fusion Points to the item). - Special Wanted Challenges.
How do I create a guild?
Use the Create Guild icon in the Social menu. You can't create a guild if you are already in one.
How do I invite my friend to a guild?
If you're the Guild Leader, find your friend in the Allies screen in the Social menu. Tap on your friend's name and select "Invite to Guild". If you are not the Guild Leader, tell your friend to search for the guild's name in the Join Guild screen in the Social menu. Your friend can request to join the guild by checking it from this page (tap the magnifying glass icon, then request to join).
Where can I see an invite to join my friend's guild?
Go to "Join Guild" in the Social menu. In the Invitations tab, you can accept invites from a Guild Leader.
Where can I see requests to join my guild?
If you are the Guild Leader, you can see new membership requests from the Members tab in the My Guild screen, which can be accessed from the Social menu.
How do I leave my guild?
From the My Guild screen in the Social menu, select "Leave Guild".
Do my guild contribution rewards carry over to my new guild?
Yes, your progress towards guild contribution rewards will carry over if you leave your current guild. However, your weekly and lifetime contributions, in the Members and Guild Bank tabs of the My Guild menu will be reset.
Do I lose my Guild Bonuses if I am kicked out of, or leave, my guild?
Yes. However, joining a new guild will grant you that guild's bonuses.
Is there a way to turn off incoming membership requests to my guild?
No. However, if you are the Guild Leader and set the level requirement high enough, only advanced players will be able to request to join.
How can I kick someone out of my guild?
From the Members tab in the My Guild screen and tap on a player. Select "Kick from Guild" in the popup that appears.
How do I contribute gold to my guild?
Tap the Contribute icon in the Guild Bank tab of the My Guild screen, accessible from the Social menu.
How do I chat with my guild?
In the chat window in the player base, tap the Guild tab.
How can I change my guild settings, banner, or description?
If you are the Guild Leader, tap "Edit Guild" in the My Guild screen of the Social menu.
How do I upgrade my Guild Bonuses?
If you are the Guild Leader and the members have contributed enough gold to the Guild Bank, you can buy a Guild Bonus upgrade from the Bonuses tab in the My Guild screen, found in the Social menu.
What are Ingredients?
Ingredients are a new item type used to craft Trinkets.
What do Ingredients do?
On their own, Ingredients have no effect. They are only used to craft Trinkets. They cannot be fused or evolved, but they can be sold.
Where do I collect Ingredients?
Ingredients can be received in the story missions or in the Trial of Elements. Different Ingredients are received in the Trial of Elements than in the story missions, so you'll have to play both to craft new Trinkets.
Where are my Ingredients stored?
Ingredients are not stored in the normal inventory. They are in the Crafting inventory, which can be found in the Crafting section.
What makes the Crafting inventory different?
The Crafting inventory is where Trinkets and Ingredients are stored. It also has its own storage cap, meaning it can be full even when the normal inventory is not (and vice versa).
How many Ingredients are there?
There are 8 for each element, for a total of 40.
Which Ingredients are available in the Trial of Elements?
Mushrooms, Herbs, Powders, Elixirs and Minerals.
Which Ingredients are available in the story missions?
Eggs, Feathers and Spirits.
What are Trinkets?
Trinkets are a new type of gear for players to equip.
What do they do?
They give small magical bonuses. These are just like the magical bonuses on your other gear, such as weapons and armor, but for different values.
How do I use them?
They are equipped on the same screen as any other piece of gear. Tap the new Trinket slot to open up your Trinkets and equip them.
Why are some of the Trinket slots locked?
Initially, some Trinket slots will be locked. Others unlock as the player character reaches certain level milestones. Just keep leveling up to unlock more slots.
How do I level up Trinkets?
You can't. Trinkets have no levels and cannot be fused or leveled up.
How do I evolve Trinkets?
You can't. Trinkets cannot be evolved. However, higher-tier Trinkets can be crafted using the Crafting menu.
How do I view my Trinkets?
Trinkets are stored in the Crafting inventory with the Ingredients. If you tap and hold, you can see their full properties, just like any other item.
How do I get new Trinkets?
You craft them in the Recipes tab of the Crafting menu.
What is Crafting?
This is a new system in DH5 that allows for the creation of new items, such as Trinkets.
Can I craft anything other than Trinkets?
Not at this time.
What do I use to craft Trinkets?
A new item type, called Ingredients, is used to make Trinkets. If you have enough Ingredients, you can create a new Trinket. For higher-tier Trinkets, you also need to use some Trinkets from the previous tier.
Why would I want to do this?
This is the only way to receive Trinkets, which are a new type of gear and give additional magical properties.
How do I craft an item?
Go to the Inventory menu, then the Crafting menu. There, you can see your available Recipes. These are the Trinkets you can currently craft. Your Ingredients are in a second tab on this screen.
How do I get more Recipes?
When you craft a Trinket, you unlock Recipes for higher-tier Trinkets of that element.
Why did I unlock so many Tier-4 recipes?
After making a Tier-3 trinket, the Tier-4 recipes of that element are unlocked. There are 5 different Tier-4 recipes for each element, so players have additional choices for customizing their character.
On the Crafting screen, what is the bar on the left?
When you're on the Crafting screen, you may see that one of the items needed to craft the Trinket is a lower-level Trinket. If you need more copies of that lower-level Trinket to complete your crafting, you can tap on it and immediately go to the Crafting screen for that Trinket. The higher-level Trinket you were working on before is still accessible on the bar on the left. If you tap the icons there, you can return to the Trinkets you were working on before.
How does the Guild Tournament work?
It's simple: First, you need to be in a guild. Then, you need to raid another player's Stronghold at least once during a season to place your guild on the leaderboard.
When do the Guild Tournaments happen?
When a season ends, another always starts automatically.
Who receives the Guild Tournament rewards?
First, your guild needs to be in the top 3 guilds. Then, you need to be in the top players of your guild.
At the end of a Guild Tournament, my guild ranked in the top 3 guilds. Why did I not receive any rewards?
Besides being in the top 3 guilds, only the top players share the reward.
I received a Guild Tournament reward, but the amount of Gems differs from what is written next to the medal in the Guild Leaderboards.
The Gems indicated on the Guild Leaderboards is the total number of Gems that the winning guild receives. Once won, the reward is shared equally among the top players of the guild.
Why am I inactive in the guild members list?
You are set as inactive every time a Guild Tournament ends or when you leave a guild. To become active again, you need to raid another player's Stronghold.
What happens to my score if I leave a guild and join another one?
When you leave a guild, your score is removed from the Tournament Trophies overall score if you were active. To add your score to your new guild, you need to raid another player's Stronghold.
How does the Tournament Trophies overall score work?
The Tournament Trophies overall score is the sum of all active members' personal Stronghold score (Trophies).
What is a Stronghold Booster?
Stronghold Boosters are Fusion Boosters that are used exclusively to level up minions and rooms in the Stronghold.
How do I get Stronghold Boosters?
Stronghold Boosters are given as rewards for successfully raiding another player's Stronghold.
How can I get Fusion Boosters?
Fusion Boosters are now given as rewards for successfully defending your Stronghold.
Do the rewards for defending my Stronghold change depending on my League Rank?
Yes. As you get promoted in Leagues, you earn more and better Fusion Boosters for successfully defending your Stronghold.
Why am I unable to invite friends using referral codes? What does the "Invalid Code" message mean?
You can only add players who play on the same platform and are located on the same server. Players are placed on different servers based on their location.
Why has the amount of XP needed to reach the next level changed?
This change was implemented in Update 2 to improve game balancing.
My Stronghold's Upkeep does not increase anymore. It's stuck at 436 points and I'm already beyond level 100. Is that normal?
The limit for the Stronghold Upkeep is still 436 points. It has not been increased in any updates.
Why do I start with one shield?
All players start with one shield, until their Stronghold gets attacked 10 times.
What do the 5 shields indicate?
Once your Stronghold is attacked 10 times, your rating is based on your win/loss ratio for defending your Stronghold. So, a Stronghold with 3 shields highlighted out of the 5 has a defense rating of 60%.
Am I rewarded for attacking a Stronghold that has 4 shields or more?
Yes. Besides earning a large amount of trophies, the amount of Gold and Quartz you earn is multiplied.
What are the consecutive rewards?
You receive a reward each time you reach a new number of consecutive defenses.
Can the consecutive defense rewards be obtained multiple times?
No. You receive them only the first time you reach that number of consecutive defenses.
I have accumulated enough consecutive defenses to get a reward. Why didn't I receive it?
Some rewards require the player to be at least in a certain league or higher to be able to obtain them. Note that your Stronghold needs to be attacked and successfully defended at least once in the required league or higher to obtain the rewards.
What happens when my Stronghold gets raided and I fail to defend it?
Your consecutive defenses count returns to 0.
Where can I see my current amount of consecutive defenses?
In your Stronghold, simply tap on your defensive rating icon. You will be brought to the consecutive defenses rewards section.
What is the Free Energy Bonus?
This is a recurring gift of Energy that you can claim anytime you want. Once you've claimed it, you have to wait until the cooldown is complete to claim the gift again.
How do I get a Free Energy Bonus?
In the Special tab of the Quests menu, tap on the "Claim" icon at the top.
What is Rush?
Selecting "Rush" instead of playing a Mission normally means that the Mission will be completed automatically, and you'll be sent to the result screen right away. No need to fight.
What are the requirements to Rush a Mission?
You need to have successfully completed that Mission AFTER the release of Update 4, where the Rush feature was introduced, at that difficulty or higher, without using any Health Potions or Revives. You only need to complete this requirement once; after that, you can use Rush whenever you want for that Mission at that difficulty level.
What are the requirements to Rush a Wanted Challenge?
They are the same as for Missions, but applied to that particular Wanted Challenge and difficulty level.
What do I need to spend to Rush a Mission/Challenge?
After you've unlocked the right to Rush a particular Mission or Wanted Challenge, you'll need 1 Rush Ticket and the normal amount of Energy to Rush the Mission/Challenge.
Where can I get Rush Tickets?
Every time you unlock the right to Rush a Mission, you will receive a Rush ticket. You can also purchase Rush Tickets in the Shop. Every time you gain a new VIP Rank, you'll receive a bundle of Rush Tickets. High-ranking VIP users can receive an amount of Rush Tickets EVERY day.
Are the rewards when completing a Rush the same as if I played a Mission/Challenge normally?
You will receive what you would have gotten in an average run.
What is VIP?

How do I acquire VIP Points?
The main method to acquire VIP Points is through in-app purchases. Each pack of Gems comes with a certain amount of VIP points. You can also receive VIP points as Daily Rewards.

No. VIP Ranks NEVER decrease.
Do I have to spend VIP Points?
No. You can gain VIP Points and your total will NEVER decrease.
What are VIP Benefits?
These are advantages given to VIP users, depending on their VIP Ranks. To see a full list of the VIP Benefits, just enter the in-app purchase menu and select "Benefits" at the top right of the menu.
What is the "Rush Tickets / day" benefit?
The VIP user will receive an amount of Rush Tickets every day, as long as they log in and claim them in the Quests menu every day.
What is the "Guild Gold contribution" benefit?
It means that every time you contribute Gold to your Guild, your contribution will be worth more than what you actually gave. A 20% bonus means that if you gave 1,000 Gold to your Guild, 1,000 Gold will be deducted from your wallet, but it will be worth 1,200 Gold the moment it is deposited in your Guild's bank.
What does "Unlocked Trial of Elements Waypoints" mean?
It means that when the Trial of Elements is reset, instead of being forced to restart at Waypoint 1, you'll already have a number of Waypoints unlocked.
Why does the Mossback Dragon cause damage to friendly minions in the Stronghold?
This is a game feature, but we might change how Mossback Dragon works in future updates.
I cannot use the Boosters I received from a Stronghold raid for item Fusion. Why?
After Update 3, we added Stronghold Boosters to the game. They can only be used for upgrading your minions. In order to upgrade your items with Fusion, you can use the Boosters received from the daily Fusion Booster dungeon / Wanted Challenge, or those received as a Guild reward or won while successfully defending your Stronghold from another player's raid.
What happened to the Endless Dungeon?
The Endless Dungeon has been modified and is now called the "Trial of Elements."
What happened to the Endless Dungeon leaderboard?
The leaderboard has been removed. The Trial of Elements now shows the top players for the event, but there are no rewards associated with being at the top; simply the fame that comes from being the best.
What else changed?
The Trial of Elements is now a two-week event, and rewards are given at set Waypoints. Players who progress farther in the Trial can earn Gems and trinkets.
What is "Auto" mode?
In Daily Dungeons and in the Trial of Elements, you can tap the AUTO icon at the bottom of the screen to have your character defeat the monsters and complete the missions by itself.
What can I do while Auto mode is on?
You can turn Auto mode on and off at any moment during gameplay. While Auto mode is on, you can switch weapons or drink a health potion without turning Auto mode off. Your character will move, attack and perform skills by itself.
Where can I use Auto mode?
Auto mode is available only in Daily Dungeons, in the Wanted Challenges, and in the Trial of Elements.
What is the VIP Chest and how can I get it?
The VIP Chest is exclusive to VIP users with a Rank of 8+. It has higher odds to get better items. Also, new items are released one week earlier in the VIP Chest before entering the other Chests.
I purchased a special offer and now I can't access the Special Offer section. Why not?
Each special offer (which might include one or more bundles) is a one-time offer (until another special offer is presented).
Where do I claim my Daily Shipment of Gems?
You can claim your Gems in the Quest menu, inside the Special tab.
Why were the shields removed?
The shields were more in the way than they were helpful. Removing the shields helps you get raided more often, which can lead to a better chance of getting successful defensive rewards.
Do I need to be in a guild to play Co-op mode?
No, but some quests require you to be in a guild in order to complete them.
Why are there no rewards when I beat a mission in Co-op?
Co-op rewards are not based on individual missions; they are based on completing Weekly Quests. Check the Quests menu to see what objectives you can complete in Co-op to earn rewards.
How can I invite a friend to Co-op mode?
Currently there is no feature to directly invite a friend. However, if you create a Party, anyone on your Allies list will see it listed separately in the Join Party menu.
How can I invite a guildmate to Co-op?
Currently, there is no feature to directly invite a guildmate. However, if you create a Party, anyone in your guild will see it listed in the Guild Parties section of the Join Party menu.
What is the difference between the Minion of the Week and a Featured Minion in Co-op?
Each Co-op Weekly Quest gives shards to summon the Minion of the Week. In general, you will be able to earn one minion per week this way. If you are able to complete ALL weekly quests in a given week, you will earn a SINGLE shard for the Featured Minion. It takes three shards to craft a Featured Minion, so you will need to complete all of the quests for several weeks to earn one.
Is there any way to join a Co-op game once it has started?
Currently, there is no way to join a game that is in progress.
Is there a way to rejoin a game after being disconnected?
No.
Is there a way to chat with my party members in Co-op?
No.
What happens if Quickplay repeatedly fails to find a party for me to join?
Generally, this occurs during periods of low player activity. Try again later or use the Auto-join Lobby feature to find a room. (This option is in the pop-up that appears when Quickplay fails to find a match.)
I have extra shards left after summoning the Minion of the Week. What can I do with the extra shards?
Currently, the Weekly quests may sometimes give more shards than are necessary to craft a minion. This is so you have greater choice in terms of the quests you would like to complete. You can hang onto your extra shards. It is possible that there will be more of the same type of shard available in the future.
Where can I see the future Minion of the Week and Featured Minions?
Currently, you must wait until the event refreshes (once per week). This will cause the Weekly Quests to reset and the new minions to appear.
Where can I see my Weekly Quests?
The Weekly Quests are displayed in the Quest menu accessible from the main menu. They are also accessible using the Weekly Quests icon in the Co-op Menu.
What does the "Minimum ATK/DEF Requirement" mean?
This is the minimum Attack and Armor rating your character must have to join a room. As a Party Leader, you can set this to lock your room to only allow players with certain stats to join. In order to meet the requirement, BOTH the ATK rating and DEF rating of the player must be higher than the limit. Each map difficulty has a suggested min ATK/DEF requirement, but a Party Leader can choose to raise or lower it when creating the party.
How do I complete the "Don't take damage from the Wraith's bomb ability" quest in the Weekly Quests?
In the Ashken Breeding Ground map in Co-op, the last boss is the Forsaken Wraith. One of its abilities looks like a time bomb over the player's head. If you can complete the level without any members taking damage from this ability, the quest will be completed.
How do I complete the "Worm eating fanatics" quest?
In the Ashken Breeding Ground map in Co-op, the second-to-last boss is the Possessed Worm. If you wait to kill the worm until it has eaten enough Ashken fanatics, THEN kill it and finish the mission, the quest will be completed.
I open a themed chest (e.g. VIP or Adamant) but I receive regular items. Why?
When opening any themed chest, you may also win non-themed items. There is just a higher chance of getting a themed item. It is a feature of the game.
I was charged for something I didn't order. How do I restrict in-app purchases on my device?

Please note that in-app purchases are designed to be completed only by tapping on them. Therefore, if you have tapped on an offer several times, that could result in several orders. After making a purchase, you should receive a purchase confirmation from the Windows store. If you were charged several times and received confirmation of several purchases but ordered only once, please contact us using the Customer Care option in the game, attaching a screenshot of your order history where these purchases would be visible.
How do I find the purchase confirmation?
Here's how to view all your Windows Store purchases from your Microsoft account: 1) Sign into account.microsoft.com; 2) Go to "Payment & billing" and select "Order history"; 3) Select the order made in-game; 4) Take a screenshot of it. No sound in game.
If the sound in your game has disappeared, this could be caused by several factors. We suggest that you do the following: 1. Make sure that you have the sound ON in your in-game settings; 2. If the sound is ON but the game is still silent, try quitting the game and restarting the device; 3. Check whether your device is muted; this will affect the game state as well; 4. Try plugging in and unplugging your headphones; 5. Try opening another application and see if the sound works there; if there is no sound there too, the problem could be with your device, not the game.
Controls stopped working or became reversed.

How do I transfer my progress to another device or recover it after reinstallation?
Gameloft games provide an opportunity to synchronize your progress on several devices running the same operating system (i.e. you can transfer your progress between Windows devices). There are also several games that allow you to transfer progress to other platforms (please see specific FAQs for each game to see if this option is present there). Please note that although you do have such an option, we strongly suggest that you play on one device at a time, as playing on both the new and old devices can generate progress conflicts. If your progress was reset after resetting the device / updating the game / reinstalling the game, or if you have bought a new device, you have an option for recovering your old account. All you need to do is to log into the account (Facebook / Xbox Live / Gameloft LIVE!) you previously used in the game. Cannot log in with my Facebook account.
As a general rule, you should be able to log into your Facebook account through the game's settings. If the game does not provide an option to log in with any social network, that could be caused by the age you have entered on the Age Confirmation screen. We were requested to introduce the Age Confirmation screen as a part of new regulations in several countries. Please be advised that the changes mentioned above involve removing all social network connections and other features that might disclose players' real names or other personal information. These regulations have been set up to protect children from unwanted social interactions. If you are unable to connect to your account due to a specific error or if the account just loads but nothing happens, we suggest that you try the following troubleshooting steps that usually resolve such issues: 1. Turn off your device and Wi-Fi router for a minute or two; 2. Turn them back on and check whether the application is working properly; 3. Make sure your Wi-Fi network is password-protected so no one else is using it and lowering your bandwidth; 4. Make sure you do not have any streaming or P2P software running on your Wi-Fi network; 5. Log in with Facebook through the app by using the game's settings.
I'm losing in-game currency for no reason.
If you have noticed that a certain amount of your in-game currency is missing, this means that it has been somehow spent during gameplay. In most cases, it’s because another person has used it (possibly a friend or family member). This is also likely if you've loaded your account onto someone else's device and forgot to log out. They could be playing on your account without you knowing. Please be advised that the game never uses in-game resources on its own; all the actions (including purchases with in-game currency) are always triggered by the player. Accidental purchases are a possibility, too. In order to prevent such problems from happening, please do not forget to lock your screen after playing. Moreover, if you have loaded your account onto someone else's device, remember to log out when you're done. Since we cannot cancel the player's actions on our side (i.e. revert the progress that was reached as result of accidental purchase or take back items bought by accident), we cannot offer refunds for accidental in-game purchases as this would be unfair to other players who earned the same item or upgrade with their own resources and effort.
I haven't received the reward for the recent event.
Please note that the rewards are always sent only after the event has ended, according to your final leaderboard position. Make sure that the event is not ongoing at the moment, check the announced prizes, and refresh the page with the leaderboard. Sometimes winners change within a minute, so you need to be well connected in order to see the most up-to-date information.
I can't watch Free Cash videos or don't get credit for watching them.
Kindly note that there is a limited number of Free Cash videos that can be watched per day. Once you have exceeded the limit, you won't get the rewards for further views. Please also note that they may not be available every day. It depends on the campaign held for your platform in your specific country. Moreover, there are many other factors at play as well.
I have lost an item in-game.
Please note that items never disappear by themselves, and the game never performs any item interactions on the player's behalf. If you have noticed that you are missing an item, check if it was used when creating other items. It is also possible that you (or some of your friends / family members) have deleted it or sold it by accident. In order to prevent such problems from happening, please do not forget to lock your screen after playing and remember to log out if you have loaded your account onto someone else's device. There are also situations where the game crashes or freezes when you are just about to loot/win a cool item. The game mechanics are designed in such a way that items are considered yours only if you were lucky enough to pick them up. In order to prevent such issues, please make sure that you have a stable Internet connection.
How do I turn off notifications?
To manage notifications on Windows Phone, please open the App list, tap Settings > Notifications + actions, and choose the game from the list of your apps. There, you can turn notifications on or off. Also, there are notifications that are sent by the game. These can be disabled in the main menu of the game by going to the settings, then notifications.
My account was banned. Why?
If your account has been banned, this means that our systems have detected abnormal activity in your account. Specific prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: 1) Using cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, mods or any other unauthorized software designed to modify or interfere with the Services; 2) Using the account, username, or password of another account holder at any time or disclosing your password to any third party or permitting any third party to access your Account; 3) Sublicense, rent, lease, sell, trade, gift, bequeath or otherwise transfer your account or any Virtual Items associated with your account to anyone; 4) Access or use a third-party account or any Virtual Items that have been sublicensed, rented, leased, sold, traded, gifted, bequeathed, or otherwise transferred from the holder or the original account creator; 5) Utilize multiple accounts, manual procedures, bots, scripts or other processes in order to accumulate or "farm" Virtual Items; 6) Use the Services in a commercial manner, including the transferring of Virtual Items in exchange for "real world" money. Your account could be also banned temporarily for a fixed term. This term should be indicated in the ban message that you receive upon launching the game.

If you are typing a message in the in-game chat but it is not sent or remains invisible, it is very likely that your account has been muted in the chat. This could happen if you have been showing unacceptable disrespectful behavior towards our community. We do not tolerate abusive chat behavior or any other such behavior, and want to provide a clean and fair experience for all customers.
How do I report a cheater or abusive player?
We are taking all possible measures to prevent players from using hacks and cheating: Our technical department thoroughly checks the accounts of suspicious players. Still, every now and then, misunderstandings and disputes with other players may arise. Some of our games have "Report" icons that appear when you tap on a player's nickname or avatar. These can be used to report users if they: 1. Cheat (use hacks, exploits or any kind of cheats); 2. Show abusive behavior (behavior you consider offensive or aggressive); 3. What is the YouTuber Event?
It is an event in which players will select a YouTuber from a list who, through actions in the game, will earn them points. The YouTuber who wins will get their armor added to the game.
What is a Guild War?
- A Guild War is a 3-day event where Guilds compete against each other for the highest leaderboard position. - A Guild War is made up of matches called "Battles." A Battle is 1 hour long and is a match between two Guilds based on an automatic matchmaking process. - To participate, a Guild Leader or Officer must "Declare War" before each Battle. This will enter the Guild into the matchmaking queue. The Battle begins immediately when an opponent Guild is found. - After a Guild declares war, the Guild cannot recruit or kick new players until the Guild War ends, and any changes that Guild members make to their Stronghold defenses will not appear in the Guild War.
What is a Battle?
- A battle is 1 hour long and is a match between two Guilds based on an automatic matchmaking process. - To participate, a Guild Leader or Officer must "Declare War" before each Battle. This will enter the Guild into the Battle Queue. The Battle begins immediately when an opponent Guild is found. - Players can attack the Stronghold of enemy players. A successful attack earns War Points for the attacking player's Guild. - When the Battle is over, the Guild that earned the most War Points during the Battle gains a War Point bonus. - Players can also choose to raid the armory to find Battle Supplies. When a Guild earns enough Battle Supplies, they trigger Battle Frenzy for a limited time. - At the end of a Battle, the Guild that's earned the most points in that Battle will get a percentage bonus to the points they earned.
What is Battle Frenzy?
- Battle Frenzy is a special short-duration boost that gives a Guild extra War Points for all successful attacks. - Battle Frenzy triggers automatically when a Guild earns enough Battle Supplies by raiding the opponent's Armory. - A Guild can extend the Battle Frenzy timer by gathering more Battle Supplies.
What are Battle Quests?
- Battle Quests refresh at the beginning of each battle. They are special objectives that award a huge War Point bonus. - Battle Quests can be found in the Opponent Selection menu while the Battle is active. - Battle Quests count for the whole Guild, so they will require cooperation to be completed.

Anyone in a Guild with over 10 members can participate.
How can they participate?

Do Guild Wars use energy?
Yes, but not the normal kind, so players will be able to participate in Guild Wars without interfering with their other activities. Guild Wars use "Morale," a new Guild PvP energy that is available in the Shop.
Why can't I recruit people to, or kick people from, my Guild?
After a Guild declares war, the Guild cannot recruit or kick new players until the Guild War ends.
My Guild won rewards in the Guild War, but I did not receive any of them. Why?
In order to earn rewards, you must participate by attacking successfully at least once. Inactive players do not receive rewards. You must also log in to collect your rewards before the next Guild War starts.
The Daily Reward calendar has only 28 days. Why?
As of update 1.9.0, the Daily Reward calendar ends at day 28. Note that this is an intended change. You will be able to receive daily bonuses again at the beginning of the next month.
What is a Stronghold?
The Stronghold is your base. Other players can raid your Stronghold for Gold, Quartz and Trophies, just as you can raid theirs.
How can I generate Gold and Quartz with my Stronghold?
The gold generated by your Stronghold is related to your current League Ranking. Higher League Levels mean more gold generation from the Stronghold. Assigning a minion to the Stronghold will also grant gold and/or Monster Token generation bonuses.
Why are changes I made to my Stronghold not showing up in the Guild War?
- When the Guild War ends, any player who participated in the event receives rewards based on the Guild's standing in the Leaderboard. - The top-tier rewards for a Guild War are the best new armor and weapons in the game.
What's the maximum Stronghold upkeep?
The maximum upkeep is 436 and it is reached at player level 100. But, in update 12, we are removing the upkeep from the Stronghold.
Why can't I play beyond mission 51 in the World Map?
Use the Dream Portal to play additional missions past mission 51.
What is Berserker Damage and how does it work? How can I knock back an enemy?
If your HP is under 15%, you deal additional damage equal to your total Berserker Damage bonus. The visual effect appears only when you are attacked or when you attack (with HP < 15%), for a little while after. Certain weapons have a knockback ability. The combo attack of the polearm will result in knocking back an enemy. The higher your level versus your opponent's, the higher the chances of a knockback (provided it's not a Minion with an immunity to this).
Why are Thunderfist Brawlers stronger in the Ruby Temple?
First, the trap room chooses this minion type and applies many buffs to it. Secondly, some variations give passive stat bonuses (like a Health Bonus) to all minions.
What are Stronghold Stones?
Stronghold Stones are the main currency for the Stronghold. It allows players to buy and evolve their trap rooms. They can also upgrade and level up their minions and buy Stronghold Chest Tickets.
Where can I get Stronghold Stones?
You can receive Stronghold Stones as a reward for raiding other Strongholds. In some cases, you can also get them from special bundles.
Where can I spend my Stronghold Stones?
You can spend your Stronghold Stones inside the Workshop.
What is the Workshop?
The Workshop is located inside your Stronghold. You can buy and evolve trap rooms and minions there.
Where is my Keeper?
The Keeper has been removed from the Stronghold to speed up Raids.
What happened to my old Trap Rooms and their Super Fusion Points?
All Trap Room Super Fusion Points and the weaker/extra traps were converted into Stronghold Stones. Trap Rooms with higher tiers were updated to their equivalent new version.
What is scouting?
Scouting allows you to see your opponent's Stronghold and their assigned minions.
If I do not want to raid the current opponent, can I change the opponent?
Yes, you can spend Quartz to change your opponent.
Can I raid the players who've attacked me?
Yes, you can freely raid your last 3 opponents.
Where can I see who I can raid for revenge?
Inside the Stronghold, you can find the available Revenge raids inside the Raid Reports.
What's the maximum level I can reach in the game?
The maximum level you can reach is 130.
What is the Guild Shop?
Starting with Update 14, you will have the possibility to choose most of the rewards you're getting in the Guild Wars. Participating in the Guild Wars will give you Guild Seals which you'll be able to spend in the Guild Shop on items YOU want.
Why can't I enter the Guild Shop?
You need to be in a Guild to have access to the Guild Shop. Guilds unlock at Player level 8.
Why are some items locked?
Your Shop Level isn't high enough.
How can I increase my Shop Level?
Shop Level is determined by the ranking of your Guild in the last Guild War.
Why are some items locked that weren't locked before?
Shop Level determines what is locked or not, and the Shop Level isn't permanent. Your Guild needs to rank higher to increase the Shop Level in order to unlock more items in the Guild Shop.
Why do some items show as "Out of Stock"?
Each item has a stock limit (determined by your Shop Level). Once you have purchased up to the stock limit, you will need to wait for it to be restocked (every 24 hours).
What are Guild Seals?
This is the currency earned during Guild Raids and Armory Raids. You can spend it in the Guild Shop to get Energy, Evolution Materials, Fusion Boosters, etc.
How do I get Guild Seals?
Participate in Guild Wars by performing successful Guild Raids.
Can I lose Guild Seals?
No. Except when you spend them in the Shop, obviously.
I purchased a Chest in the Guild Shop, but I received nothing. Why?
You purchased a "key" for the chest. You need to go to the Chests menu, where the particular Chest will display as "free" on the icon for it. Tap it to open the Chest you just purchased in the Guild Shop.
Some of my Evolution Materials disappeared from my Inventory. Why?
Because they have been converted into two new types of Evolution Materials which are far more versatile than your previous ones.
Why was this conversion done?
Many previous Wanted Challenge items had their own specific Evolution Materials needed to Evolve them. These materials weren't available anymore. We wanted to give players a better option.
But what about the weapons and armors that required the materials you removed to be evolved?
Their recipes have now been modified to use the two new types of Evolution Materials. Please note, these Evolution Materials are also available in the new Guild Shop.
What is bloodrage? How can I activate it?
Bloodrage is a skill and it is triggered when you kill something. It can give you a 6/8/10% bonus damage (depending on the item's tier) for 8 seconds. The duration increases with the tier and it can be re-triggered with additional kills.
What does it mean when I have a piece of armor with a red block that I can't equip?
It means that you don't have the weight capacity yet to equip that item.
Where can I get a referral code?
Please note that a referral (friend) code can only be obtained from other players. You can either ask your friends to share their codes with you or request them from someone in the chat.
Our Guild leader is inactive. Can I become a leader instead?
If your guild leader does not play anymore, you can create your own guild, then you will automatically become its leader. You can become a leader of a guild you didn't create only if a current guild leader passes the leadership to you, but for that, one has to be an active player.
How do I add a friend?
You can add players to your Friends List by sending them a Friend Request, or by accepting Friend Requests sent to you by other players. Please keep in mind that the game does not support cross-platform playing, so before adding your friend, make sure that you both play on the same platform.
Why were Super Fusion Points not transferred when using items in Mastery?
Before completing Fusion to upgrade the number of Super Fusion Points, you need to Master your gear. The items used in the Mastery recipe will not transfer the Super Fusion Points; thus, it is better to use gear with the lowest Super Fusion Points in the recipe. Upgrading the Mastery only raises the max amount of Super Fusion Points that an item can have, but only Fusion can transfer Super Fusion Points.
What are Arena Gear Sets?
The Arena Gear Sets are five additional gear sets that are available for your bounty hunter once you've unlocked the Arena game mode. These gear sets are only available in this mode.
Where do I find the Arena Gear Sets?
The Arena Gear Sets can be found in the Arena's gear customization menus, or in the main gear customization menu available from the player base.
When do I use the Arena Gear Sets?
The Arena Gear Sets can only be used in the Arena game mode. In this mode, the Arena Gear Sets replace the default Gear Sets. The Arena Gear Sets are not available outside of the Arena game mode.
Will there be specific Gear Sets for other game modes?
At the moment, the only game mode that is supported by mode-specific Gear Sets is the Arena.
